Story...

A terrorist group has teamed up with mercenaries to plan a deadly endeavor. No matter what they're up to, all we know is that it's a threat to peace.

To uncover their true purpose, the Alliance Forces dispatch Team Bravo-5 to the city of Eter. This is a high-risk operation, as the entire city is controlled by a group of mercenaries. You'll receive a warm welcome from them like you've never experienced before. Use everything you have to overcome obstacles to uncover the secrets they have hidden.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Game play...

You'll be sent into a large city, and the game will only tell you the main quest you need to complete. You'll have to figure out how to accomplish it on your own. You'll need to explore and ask people in the city (just don't ask the wrong people), which will provide you with information or items useful for your mission.

BA differs from other games in that players don't have to follow a predetermined script or a specific sequence. Instead, players are free to do whatever they want. Of course, every action you take will determine the direction of the story, and the people waiting for you at the end of your journey will change according to your choices.

"Every exploration and encounter has a story"

This game has 3 endings, and which ending you get depends on the player's actions. Regardless of the ending, all endings are linked to the storyline in Adventurer's Trial series.

There are 3 storylines you'll encounter: (The guide is at the bottom)

1/A. Just Complete the Task

1/B. The Last Witness

2. The Secret

3. Sign of the Storm

Encounter...

The game's battle system is similar to Pokémon. You'll be forced into battle the moment you enter the enemy's attack range, but not all enemies use this system. This game features two types of enemy encounters: visible enemies and invisible enemies. Once you enter enemy attack range or ambush area, you will be forced into combat immediately, and you cannot escape. If you do not want to confront the enemy, you should stay as far away from them as possible (at least 3 tiles).

Before entering battle, players will have 3 options:

1. Analyze : I-3 will analyze enemy data and provide you with combat advice.

2. Prepare : If you're not ready yet, you can access the menu first, including saving the game via the Hunter Pad.

3. Start Battle : You can enter the battle as soon as you're ready.

If a QTE (Quick Time Event) system is in place before the battle and the player fails to successfully execute it, they will be forced into the battle immediately without any prior preparation. This also applies to certain enemy types that chase and capture the player (these enemies can reappear).

During combat, players will receive the following commands.

1. Normal Attack : Each class has different normal attacks, you will receive 15 TP when performing a normal attack.

2. Combat Skills : The combat skills of each class are categorized according to their activation type. However, activating these skills will not grant you TP (except for some skills).

3. Self Defense : If this skill is activated, you will take only half the damage from all types of attacks and be immune to Instant Kill attacks. You can also recover 5% of your LP, AP, and TP.

4. Supplies : Use the items you already have.

5. Switch Unit : Switch your character before your turn begins. The switched character can start attacking immediately without losing your turn.

Specialists and Abilities...

The class system in the Adventurer's Trial series does not use a "Job" system, but a "Specialist" system. Each class has its own specialization and their skills will match the specialization of that class.

* Some versions of the series may have different names to match the series theme, but they function as the same class and have the same abilities.

Available for Player and Enemy side

Lancer                          : Attacks that bypass the opponent's defense.

Spellblade                  : Attacks that combines physical and magic

Shadow Assault      : Reduce the enemy's abilities

Twin Blade                 : Sacrificing defense for great offensive

Reflector                    : The strength of the enemy is the pain that the enemy will suffer

Lifesaver                     : Medical support

Spellcaster                 : Attacks that focus on magical damage

Each class has 6 main roles:

Attack = Focuses on physical attacks

Magic = Focuses on magical attacks

Range = Focuses on high-precision long-range attacks

Effect = Focuses on direct attacks

Shield = Focuses more on defense than offense

Support = Focuses on supporting teammates

Every class has its own unique abilities and advantages and disadvantages over others. For example, Spellcaster have an advantage over Effect-types, and Detectors have an advantage over Shadow Assaults. In combat, if you choose your teammates wisely for the situation, you can win battles quickly.

"Conversely, if you lose a teammate during battle, you also lose that ability from your team"

Dev note:

Bravo Assault is part of the Adventurer's Trial* project, currently under development. The story largely revolves around war and terrorism. All content in this game series is fictional and created for entertainment purposes only, and is not linked to any real individuals or events.

Bravo Assault is an improved version of the Bravo Assault Team game, which was previously used in RPG Maker Game Jam 2025. This version features enhanced gameplay and a complete rebalancing from the previous version. Because it was made for a game jam, its limited content prevented the inclusion of some features from Adventurer's Trial, and some systems remain disabled (Because the games used in JAM have time limits for playing).

BA is considered a pilot project for Adventurer's Trial and the first game in the series to be released. However, I'm not making any promises about future projects in the series. BA could be both my first and last work at the same time.

If you have any comments, suggestions, or criticisms please share them in the comments section below. We appreciate your feedback, but please use polite language and comply with community rules.

* A tentative title used during development may not be used in the final version.
